Chutney is a pasty sauce used in Indian cuisine. Chutneys are usually wet, having a coarse to fine texture. Tomato chutney is a easy one to make.

Ingredients :
Tomato - 2 nos
Onion - 1 nos
Red chilli - 5
Chilli powder - 1 Tbsp
Turmeric - 1 Tbsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves
Preparation :
- Add oil to the pan, heat it.
- Add chopped tomato, onion, chilli and cook.
- Grind the above into fine paste.
- Heat the pan, add oil, add seasoning and curry leaves.
- Add the ground past with chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Cook till oil separates.
- Garnish with cilantro.
Serve it with Idly, Dosa, Chappathi.
