CHOW CHOW KOOTU
Chow chow is also know as Chayote, It is a white flesh with a mild sweet flavor. This is one of my easy and favorite way of cooking.

Main Ingredient : Chow chow
Ingredients :
Chow chow - 2 cup , cut into cubes
Channa dal - 1/2 cup
Coconut shredded - 2 tbsp
Green chilli - 2 nos
Jeera - 1 tsp
Small onion - 1
Curry leaves - few
Mustard and urud dal - 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Preparation :
- First pressure cook chow chow and channa dal. Approx for 15 mins
- Then heat the pan, Add oil then the seasoning and curry leaves.
- Grind Coconut, green chilli, jeera and onion in to fine paste.
- Add the cooked item into the pan, then the ground paste.
- Leave it for 1 min then add salt.
Serve it with rice or chappathi.
