CHOCOLATE GANACHE CAKE

Ganache is a glaze, icing or filling for the cake. It is made with heavy cream and semi sweet choco chip.

Main Ingredients : Chocolate syrup and all purpose flour

Ingredients :

Unsalted Buter - 1/2 cup room temperature

Sugar 1 cup

Egg - 4 room temperature

Chocolate syrup - 11 oz (Hersheys)

Vanilla essence - 1 tbsp

All purpose flour - 1 cup

Preparation :

  • Preheat the oven for 325 degree F.
  • Cream butter and sugar in a bowl with electric mixer. Till light and fluffy.
  • Add egg one by one. You can add egg substitutes too.
  • Then add chocolate syrup and vanilla.
  • Add flour to the mix and blend slowly. Don't over beat.
  • You can add, nuts and dry fruit of you choice, I added, chocolate chip, walnuts and raisins.
  • You can use your muffin cups or baking pan. Pour the batter and bake till the fork comes out without sticking. Before pouring, grease the pan with butter.
  • Bake it for about 40 mins
  • Cool it and top it with powdered sugar and ganache.
  • For ganache cook heavy cream and chocolate chip in a double boiler over a simmering water until smooth, stir occasionally.
Serve it with ice cream, it would be awesome.
