PARUPPU

It is an Indian Dish, usually served with meals. With rice you can mix and eat, adding some ghee.

Main Ingredients : Tuvar dal

Ingredients :

Tuvar dal - 1 cup

Turmeric - 1 tsp

Oil - 1 tbsp

Mustard and urud dal - 1 tbsp

Curry leaves - few

Salt to taste

Preparation :

  • Pressure cook thuvar dal with turmeric and a drop of oil.
  • Then add seasoning and curry leaves.
  • Add salt. 

Serve it with rice.
