PAYARU SUNDAL
It is a South Indian Dish. During Navarathiri, they do varieties of sundal. They are rich in protein and make a nice evening snack.

Main Ingredients : Sprouted green gram Dal

Ingredients :

Pacha Payaru - 1 cup

Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup

Red chili - 5 nos

Seasoning - 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Curry leaves few

Preparation :

  • Don't pressure cook the Dal, It may over cook.
  • So in a pan add water and Dal. Cook till it is in right texture. You can add little salt while cooking.
  • Drain water.
  • Now in the pan, add oil then seasoning and curry leaves.
  • Now add chili and the cooked Dal.
  • Saute it, add salt.
Serve it hot as a evening snack
