Wheat/Gothumai Upma

It is healthy and very filling. As like rava kichadi we are making with wheat.

Main Ingredients : Gothumai/wheat
Ingredeints :
Gothumai - 2 cups
Frozen Peas - 1 cup
Tomato chopped - 1 cup
Ginger - 1 tbsp chopped
Garlic chopped - 1 tbsp
Chilli - 10
Channa dal - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves few
seasoning - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Preparation :
- Heat the pan, add oil then the seasoning, curry leaves and channa dal.
- Now add tomato ginger and garlic to the pan. Saute well
- Now add chilli, Little turmeric and peas too.
- Now add 4 to 5 cups of water, leave it to boil. Add salt
- When it is boiling add gothumai to it and keep stirring.
- Then let it sit for 10 mins, or till it get cooked.
- Now garnish with Cilantro. You can add some fried cashews and peanuts too.
Serve it with chutney
