Main Ingredient : Spinach

Ingredients :

Spinach - 4 cups

Tamarind - 1 tbsp of paste

Oil - 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Red chili - 3 nos

Kayam - a pinch

Curry leaves and Mustard

Preparation :
  • Heat the pan and add little oil to it.
  • Then the Red chili and when it is done add, Tamarind paste with little water.
  • Wash the spinach well and drain all the water from it.
  • Now you can add Spinach to the Pan and close it with a lid.
  • In few mins you can see the spinach is cooked well. Allow it to cool for few mins.
  • Grind it into a fine paste.
  • Then season it with Mustard, curry leaves and kayam.
  • Add salt as needed.
You can serve it hot with Rice or for Chapathi too.
