It is like a payasam. It can be taken after the meal or alone as a sweet.

Main Ingredient : Carrot
Ingredients :
Carrot - 4 cups peeled and cubed
Cashew - 1/2 cup
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 1 cup
Cardamom - 2 crushed
Preparation :
- Boil carrots and cashew. cook well
- Grind into fine paste adding milk to it.
- Add the paste in to a pan and stir it for a while
- Add cardamom and sugar to the kheer.
- Cool it.
Serve it cold. Garnish with Sliced almonds or saffron.
