RICE UPMA

Upma can be made with Ravai, Rice, Gothumai, Semolina.

Main Ingredient : Rice & toor dal

Ingredients :

Rice - 2 cups

Toor dal - 1/2 cup

Red chili - 3 nos

Kayam a pinch

Peanuts - 1/2 cup

Channa dal - 1 tbsp

Mustard and urud dal - 1 tbsp

Curry leaves

Salt to taste

Preparation :

  • Just with little water sprinkle in rice, then dry it.
  • Break the rice and toor dal. Dont fully grind.
  • In a pan, Add oil - mustard, urud dal, curry leaves.
  • Now add peanuts and channa dal.
  • Add chili to it.
  • Then add water and let it boil.
  • Now add the rice and toor dal. Cook well. Add oil to get a nice consistency.
  • Add salt to taste.
Serve it hot.
