PEAS MASALA

Main Ingredient : Peas

Ingredients :

Peas - 2 cups
Heavy cream - 1 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tbsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Sombu 1 tsp
Star anise - 1
Bay leaves - 1
Cloves - 2
Cilantro - to garnish
Oil to saute
Salt to taste
To grind :
Tomato - 1 cup (chopped)
Onion - 1 cup (chopped)
Ginger garlic - 1 tbsp(chopped)
Cashew - 5
Green chilli - 2

Preparation :
  • Heat a pan, add oil , add all spices above. Then the ginger garlic chopped.
  • Add the paste which is ground, then the chilli powder, turmeric. Let it boil.
  • Add Cooked or frozen peas to the boiling pan. 
  • After done add the heavy cream to the pan.
  • Add salt to the gravy.
  • Garnish with cilantro, you can add cashews too(optional)
Serve it hot with roti, naan, fried rice.
