Banana chips are deep-fried or dried slices of banana. They can be fried in oil and spices. They can be covered with sugar or honey to have a sweet taste.

Ingredients :
Valaikai - 2 medium size
Chilli powder - 1 Tsp
Turmeric - 1 Tsp
Oil to fry
Salt to taste
Preparation :
- Peel the plantain.
- Heat the oil to fry
- Slice the plantain directly into the oil, deep fry it.
- Strain the oil and add chilli powder, turmeric and salt. (when it is hot)
Serve with rice, or as a snack.
