BEANS PORIYAL
Beans poriyal is a dish which is made out of Green beans or string beans. It is usually severed as side dish.

Main Ingredients : Beans

Ingredients :

Green Beans - Cut - 2 cups

Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup

Seasoning (Mustard and urud dal) - 1 tbsp

Oil - 1 tbsp

Kayam a pinch

Chilli powder - 1 tbsp

Turmeric - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Curry leaves few

Preparation :

  • Heat the pan, add oil to it. Then the seasoning and curry leaves with kayam
  • Then after it is done, add cut beans to it. Close it with a lid to cook.
  • After the beans is cooked, Add turmeric, Chilli powder and saute well.
  • Then add the coconut and salt to it.
Serve it hot with rice.
