POORI MASAL
It goes well with Poori. A default dish with poori. A very good combination.

Main Ingredients : Potato and Channa Flour

Ingredients :

Potato - cooked, peeled and mashed 2 cups

Onion - chopped - 1 cup

Green chilli - 10 nos

Ginger - chopped - 1 tbsp

Garlic - chopped - 1 tbsp

Coriander leaves - chopped - 1/2 cup

Seasoning - mustard and urud dal - 1 tbsp

Water - 1/2 cup

Turmeric - 1 tbsp

Kadalai mavu/ Channa flour - 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Oil - 2 tbsp

Channa dal - 1 tbsp

Curry leaves - few

Kayam a pinch

Preparation :

  • Heat a pan, add oil.
  • Add seasoning, kayam, channa dal and curry leaves.
  • Now you can add Chopped ginger, garlic, onion and chilli.
  • Now add cooked and mashed potatos to the pan.
  • Now in a glass you can mix water, kadalai mavu, turmeric and salt. Mix well.
  • Then add the paste into the kadai. Let it cook.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with poori
