TOMATO RICE
It is made with tomato and few spice. A delicious rice mix. It is a south Indian origin, serve it as such or with papadams.

Main Ingredients : Tomato

Ingredients :

Tomato - 2 cups chopped

Onion - 1 cup chopped

Ginger garlic chopped - 1 tbsp

Curry leavs few

Cooked rice - 4 cups

Chilli - 4 nos

Chilli powder - 1 tbsp

Turmeric - 1 tsp

Peanuts - 1/2 cup

Sesame oil - 1/2 cup

Seasoning 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Preparation :

  • Cook the rice, spread in a large bowl after it is cooked.
  • Sprinkle little oil on top to make the rice loose.
  • Heat a pan, add oil to the pan.
  • Add seasoning, curry leaves.
  • Now add chilli, ginger garlic and peanuts.
  • Saute well, then add onions. You can sprinkle little salt to cook the onions fast.
  • Now add tomatos. Saute well.
  • Then add chilli powder, turmeric to the pan.
  • Add salt.
  • Add the mix to the rice.
Serve it hot with papadams
