DALBHOLI

It is a sweet dish. Made with Maida and Puranam. The puranam can be with dal and jaggery or with coconut and sugar or with dal, coconut and jaggery.

Main Ingredient : Maida and jaggery

Ingredients :

Maida - 2 cups

Ravai - 2 tbsp

Ghee - 2 tbsp

For Filling :

Channa dal - 2 cups

Jaggery - 1 cup

Cardamom - 2

Coconut - 1/2 cup

Preparation :

  • Pressure cook channa dal well and drain all water.
  • Now grind it or mash well.
  • In a pan, add little water to it add jaggery, cardamom. Mix well.
  • Now add the cooked dal and coconut shredded.
  • It should be in a consistency to make a good size ball. Keep it aside to cool.
  • Now make a dough with maida and ravai by adding ghee.
  • Let it be for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Now with the dough make chapathi by adding the filling. Toast it in a tava adding ghee.

  • Will taste awesome.
Serve it hot.
