MYSOREPAK

It is a sweet dish served as dessert. It is made of generous amount of Ghee, sugar and besan flour.

Preparation time : 10 mins

Cooking time : 30 mins

Course : Sweet

Main Ingredient : Besan flour, Ghee and sugar

Ingredients :

Besan flour - 2 cups

Sugar - 2 cups

Ghee - 2 cups

water - 1/2 cup

Preparation :

  • In a thick bottom pan, add water and sugar to it. Leave it to boil till you get a string consistency.
  • In between you can sieve besan flour. Keep in ready.
  • When you get string consistency, you can add flour, by stirring the mixture.
  • In another sauce pan, heat ghee to add in between.
  • When the mixture thickens, keep adding ghee and stir well.
  • Do the same till mysorepak doesn't stick to the pan.
  • Pour it in a greased plate ad cut to desired shape.
