Kuska
It is Just Basmati Rice cooked with some Spices. Very simple but Yummy.
Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - 1 cup
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Bay leaves - 1
Garlic chopped - 1 Tbsp
Ginger Chopped - 1 Tbsp
Chili - 3
Cashew - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 cup chopped
Star anise - 1
Jeera - 1 tbsp
Sombu - 1 tbsp
Mint leaves - Few
Turmeric - a pinch
Cilantro - Few chopped
Water and Salt as required.
Preparation :
- In a Kadai add little oil with some butter.
- Now add all the spices to it with Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Chili, Cashew and also Turmeric.
- Saute well and then add Basmati rice to it and just fry it. Now add cilantro and Mint to it.
- Now u can add little Salt and water as required.
- Cook it in pressure cooker or Electric cooker.
Serve ti Hot with Raita
